Klackle's

We took advantage of some beautiful fall summer weather in October and made our yearly trip to Klackle's.  We got there right as it opened and spent almost four hours there.  We've learned that it pays to get there early and avoid the crowds.  We spent some time at the various attractions, then took advantage of the still short lines to go and pick some apples.  After the apple picking, we refueled with some cider and donuts, then hit the petting zoo, Wild West, and went back to a couple of the activities.  Picture overload coming up!

These height markers are not accurate (there used to be a step to raise the kids up) but it's fun to see them each year.
And Miss Kara, almost to the 3 foot mark.
Cole loves Klakopolis!
Heading to the orchards (they replaced their wagons with beautiful new wooden ones, but oh mercy were they uncomfortable!).
Apparently the ONLY apples in the entire row that were worth picking were way up high!
Yum!  They must have had 3 or more each.
Giving it a good yank.
Kara shows the apple who's boss!
Time to go!
Eww!  And she pet it too!  Why can't Kara be more like Cole...
and pet a llama?
Be afraid.  Be very afraid.

A return to Klakopolis, driving a different vehicle.
