And Here Comes A Cute Little Lamb!

Kara started her second year of preschool at Little Lambs and couldn't have been more thrilled to return!  Here are her pictures from her first day.

So excited, and wearing the dress she picked out by herself (first time we ever went into a fitting room to try something on at the store)!
With her backpack that's just about as big as she is!
In front of her school.
A pro now at finding her 'locker' and putting her things inside.
Kara's turn with our back to school cake.

And the keeping it real portion for Kara...

She is so happy at school and just loves to go!  I think she would go every day if she could.  There are 14 girls (out of 20 students) in her class so there are many more friends for Kara to play with.  The teachers comment often on how well she's doing and how friendly she is.  She is smart as a whip and will probably be reading by the end of the year.  Also, we switched Kara's dance school to one that is more professional, since that seems to be where her extra curricular interests are.  We were hoping that in addition to the more professional atmosphere, there would be other girls from our neighborhood there (Integrity was a good drive from our house).  We were thrilled to find out that two girls from her preschool are in her dance class, so she has become much closer to those two girls, in a short amount of time.  We are very happy with our decision to keep Kara in preschool another year.  She has really blossomed and Kindergarten should be an easier transition for her since she's learned to be a little more social and is familiar with a larger class size.
