Kara's Spring Program

Little Lambs had a spring program for both preschool classes.  All the students were on the stage together to sing a few songs, then the 3 and 4 year old class did some singing.  After they were done they found their parents, and the 4 and 5 year old's took the stage.  Each student received a certificate after they sang.  We were pleasantly surprised to see Kara singing and doing the motions as they were taught.  When they have had singing programs in their classroom, on a much smaller scale, she would clam up and not sing.  We talked with her about how it would be similar to her recital, which she had no fear of last year, and hoped for the best.  We were very proud that Kara was able to participate and have fun with her classmates!  It was very cute to hear all their cute little voices and see everyone all dressed up.
Cute little folded hands, waiting to begin.

Miss Julie, the most wonderful assistant teacher who ever lived!
Miss Kathy, Kara's patient, kind, and loving teacher.

Kara had a wonderful experience at Little Lamb's this year, and we are so happy she will return next year.  Mark and I had to decide if she would stay at Little Lamb's, go to Young 5's, or Kindergarten.  After talking with her teachers and watching her in the classroom and interacting with her classmates, we thought it best to let her have another year of preschool.  Kara did so well in preschool and had fantastic opportunities, but she still was not very social.  She will have to make new friends next year as most of her current class is leaving, but there are at least ten girls in next year's class (compared to five this year) and there are several girls that the teachers are already thinking Kara would be good friends with.

We're so proud of you, Kara, and marvel at the growth you've made this year!
