Coloring Easter Eggs

The kids love to color eggs, but usually this fun activity sneaks up on us, and we're cramming it in, just so we can say we did it.  This year we made sure we planned it on a day there was nothing else going on and we could just relax and have fun.  A couple of years ago Mark had found an egg coloring kit where the eggs were sponge painted instead of dipped in colored dye, and it was SO much more fun for the kids.  Last year we couldn't find anything but the traditional kits so we did that and it was fine, but lots of waiting for your egg to turn colors.  This year Mark was able to find the sponge painting kits (at Aldi's of all places) and bought two of them.  We had plenty of eggs and plenty of paint and plenty of fun!
