After being loose for weeks (months?) Cole finally lost his first front tooth the day after Christmas. He looked so cute that we wished it had happened the day before so all the grandparents could see it. He wasn't sure about the tooth fairy being real, but he was surprised to see $2 (instead of the usual $1) and a note from the T.F. when he woke up. Cole didn't say much, but seemed to think it was pretty cool that he got a note.
A few weeks later, the second front tooth came out (while eating a chewy bagel). He only got $1 this time, but was trying to find other wiggly teeth so he could get more money! Cole now goes around singing, "All I want for my birthday are my two front teeth" and trying to figure out words that he can't say now with his missing teeth. He looks awfully cute without his teeth! It won't last long, as one is about a third of the way grown in already! : )
I noticed Oleg's first loose tooth last weekend. I was wondering how long it would be loose before falling out. It's good to know it might take awhile. :-)
