Cole's Creativity

After we got home from our camping trip, Cole worked on a 'project' up in his room for several hours.  When he finally told me I could come up, this is what I found him working on:

 

He was recreating our camp ground with small blocks, wood planks, plastic trees, and an assortment of Lego figures and matchbox cars/trucks.  You can see some of the detail in the next picture.

You can see the people who are near their tents (alphabet blocks with green wood planks for the roof), with their trucks nearby.  People are roasting marshmellows over the fire.  Cole also included a water area (made of blue lego's), a beach, and people fishing.  He then found some RV's (since there were a few in the campground) and found his DNR trucks to use as the Park Rangers.  

Cole seems to find the most enjoyment in building, because he doesn't play much with it once it's built.  But we are constantly amazed at his memory, imagination, and attention to detail.
