'Snow' Much Fun!

We've had precious little snow this year, but every snowfall has fallen over the weekend so we can go out and play.  The kids have loved being outside, partly because of the novelty of snow this winter.  Also, the temperature has been quite warm so it's pleasant and fun to be outside.

Some pictures from our first two snowstorms:

If you look closely, you'll see snow all over Cole's head.  He was flinging his snow farther than was recommended, and ended up catching a breeze that flung all the snow back onto his face.  Thankfully, he laughed about it!
Breaking out the summer toys to play in the snow.
Mark helped them each make a little fort and a pile of snowballs, and then they went to battle.
First snowboarding of the year.  Honestly, not too exciting because our incline isn't that steep.

Mark had the idea of building up a snow pile to create more of a hill.  A bit of work, but nice that they were able to sled by themselves instead of us having to pull them around the yard.  Cole was able to snowboard off of it as well and it was much more fun.
Great time to have the camera out!
