Kara finally lost her first tooth! 

She was spending the day at Grammie and Grandpa's so they were able to witness the historic event, and more importantly, save the tooth!  Grandpa, being the true softie, ran to the toy store in their town to find her a special box to leave her tooth in for the Tooth Fairy.  : )  We were quite relieved to have that tooth fall out, because it had been loose for about a month, and was at the point was it was sticking straight out from her mouth.

Kara did not want the T.F. to take her tooth, because it was her first one and special to her (her words).  So we finally decided to write the T.F. a note.  The T.F. was very understanding and let Kara keep the tooth, and still gave her the traditional $5 for the first tooth.
